Authors Say a
Praise and Gratitude to the Presence of God Almighty because thanks to an
abundance of grace and the gift of his so I can draw up a paper entitled "getting around the community" just in time . I
also say thanks to the Lecturer of Extensive reading course that has guided me
to complete this paper , and do not forget to also thank to my friends who have
helped me in the preparation of this paper . This paper discusses the “getting around the community”
In preparing
this paper , the author got a lot of challenges and obstacles but with the help
of all of my friend that challenge can
be overcome . Therefore , the authors thank profusely to all those who have
helped in the preparation of this paper , may help get a just reward from God
Almighty .
So many things
about getting around the community that explained in this paper. I expect
understanding from the reader in understanding the contents of this paper,
because the main purpose of this paper so that the reader can understand about
“getting around the community”.
The author
realizes that this paper is still far from perfection both of form and material

Introduction
Community
service is one of the main tasks of dharma or a college , in addition to
education and teaching dharma and dharma study . Implementation of community
service dharma in its realization also involves two other dharma , is expected
to be always there linkages between universities and even unity , in this case
universities with the public.
Because
it was also expected there to be a conscious effort to avoid the isolation of
Higher Education from the environment . And efforts are carried out in
accordance with the purpose of higher education itself as mentioned in PP 60/99
( CHAPTER II art. 2 ) which reads :
a)
. Preparing students to become members of society who have the academic ability
and / or professionals who can implement , develop and / or enrich the science,
technology and / or art.
b
) . Developing and disseminating science , technology and / or the use of art
as well as efforts to improve people's lives and enrich the national culture
Because
community service is one of the main tasks of Higher Education , then its
implementation should be supported by all academicians and PT is based on a
true understanding of community service in accordance with Regulation 60/99 (
CHAPTER III psl 3, paragraph 4 ) which states that :
Community
service is an activity that utilizes science in an effort to contribute for the
betterment of society .
It
must be realized that the people , especially in Bima and surrounding areas at
this time have known that STKIP ( Sekolah tinggi keguruan ilmu pendidikan ) Bima
as universities is a storehouse of knowledge , especially Islam . Therefore
INISNU actually required to always seek the maximum in order to apply the
knowledge in a practical and able to solve the problems faced by the people in
their real lives everyday .
BAB I
Definition
Of Getting Around The community
1. Definition
Definition of
getting around the community of the philosophical can actually be grown and
developed in accordance with the perception and depends on the dimensions of
space and time. But the simple community service for Higher Education can be
defined as the practice of science that is passed by the college are
institutionalized through the scientific method directly to the public in an
effort to succeed and develop human development.
Institutionally
means that the community service was done by, on behalf of and approved by the
leadership of universities concerned. Because the activities of groups or
individuals who are not a program planned by the College, not including the
community service. Done directly means conveying the science to be applied, or
demonstrated disseminated directly to the targeted community.
2. The main
purpose
2.1. General
Community
service made by college aims to develop and succeed in development, as well
as increase the ability of communities to solve their own problems. Because
it's community service must always be directed towards activities that impact
and directly benefits can be felt by the community itself.
2.2.
Spesific
Community
service specifically aimed at :
1 . Accelerate
efforts to increase the understanding and practice of Islam among the community
that can support the ideals and aspirations of development
2 . Accelerate
efforts to increase human resource capacity with the demands of the dynamics of
development through education
3 . accelerate
efforts towards community development terbinanya dynamic society that is ready
to make a change towards improvement and progress in accordance with social
values and religion .
4 . Institutions
and accelerate development efforts in accordance with the professional
community in the process of modernization and development of regional autonomy
.
5 . Provide
input for curriculum development in universities to be more relevant with the
increasing development activities as well as increased sensitivity to the
academic community of the problems that developed in the community , especially
with the implementation of regional autonomy .
6 . Introduce to
the community colleges as well as " promotional arena " for the
college itself.
2.3. Goals and Targets
While the objectives and targets to be achieved are:

The realization of the religious quality is quite
high.
•
Realization of qualified human resources and moral
religion
•
Increasing public awareness of the potential that is
on them and at the same time be able to develop it.
•
The realization of feedback that can be used by PT
Islam (INISNU) in order to improve the curriculum.
2.4. Categories Activities
Funding of
Getting around the community program is competitive through nomination proposal
by lecturers. Proposal can be carried out by groups of teachers and proposed by
the
Faculty /
School / Centre / Research Center Feasibility of the proposal is evaluated by
the LPPM (Lembaga Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat) by assigning reviewers to
evaluate. Proposals which meet the eligibility criteria for funding determined
accordance availibility of funds allocation. This services activities are
evaluated and monitored regularly by the LPPM.
2.5. Scope Of Program
Type of
service activities cover all areas of science and art of teaching by academics
uint individually and expertise. Priority is given to programs that are needed
immediately by community groups and organization small and medium enterprises
(UKM) includes all forms of activities. Including empowerment advocacy and
implementation of science and technology products and works of art.
By
considering the needs of the community and the academic community intellectual
ability in making the program usable and sustainable activities, the scope of
the PPM program is categorized as as follows:
a)
Empowering communities through the application of technology and artwork /
design .
b)
Assisting communities through consultation and partnership.
c)
Development of pioneering independent business centers.
d)
Increase productivity and quality UKM
2.6. Output
Output that
can be measured from community service activities can be one or more of the
following categories:

Installation of equipment or facilities for the improvement of social
welfare.

Increased Production / revenue UKM
-
The absorption of the workforce
-
The inclusion of third party funds
-
Start-up UKM
-
Implementatin of SOP industrial processes
-
Application of technology.

Socialization program results ( seminar and mass media )

The establishment of an independent bussiness centers
2.7. Impact (Outcome)
Improved
quality of life and public appreciation of the world’s universities, harmonious
relations between university and the community.
2.8. Strategy
Strategy in
designing and implementing the program are:

Active Partering with Local Government in fostering reguional

Responsive to the needs of the community (individuals and / or institution)
in terms of science technology and art
·
Initiating and independent business based on principles of Knowledge Based
Economy

Principle Of
Getting Around The Community
In the framework of
arranging the policy and strategy development and implementation of community
service, necessary to apply the principles of community service as a handle.
1. The principle of instutional
These principle provide a
foundation that all of community service activity should be implemented
instutionally. Community service program and activity must be based in values,
and the organization established by the university as a system. Each element in
the system must act in accordance with the position and authority.
2. The principle of cooperation
These principle provide a
foundation that each community service activity which conducted by universities
is a collaboration between the universities and other parties. This cooperation
must be based on and inspired by the spirit
of brotherhood. These
relationships include : exchange of information, cooperation, coordination, and
integration.
3. The principle of continuity
These principle provide a
foundation to ensure the development of society through the dedication required
to discontinuation, both the program and implementation. Because the community
service performed by the university should be a basic and well-planned effort
using a logical stages in accordance with the state society and the progress of
development.
4. Educational principles and
development
These
principles provide a foundation that in accordance with the functions and role
of universities as educational institutions and scientific, then programs and
community service activities must be educational and community development. It
means that every service activities should be directed to help the community to
enable then to help them selves.
BAB III
Form Of Community service approach
In order community service, we need to approach the
community. The approach used in the framework of community service is:
1.
Community development
Oriented approach to the
development efforts of community empowerment by making the community as well as
the subject and object and development, and they are directly involved in
various community service activities as an effort to increase their
participation in the construction of their own interests.
2. Persuasive
Approach is the call and
invation with wisdom and wise without based on coercion of any kind, so that
people are motivated to attemped improve their quality, both in terms of
religious, economic, and general development.
3. Educative
Approach in the implementation
of the program or service contains elements that can dynamicization public
education towards the aspired progress.
4. Participatory
Oriented approach to improving
community participation directly in a variety of processes and implementation
of devotion.
5. Normative
The approach
is based on the norms, values, laws and regulations that apply.

Conclusion
In the getting around the community we need knowledge about the community
service. The definition of the getting around the community is of the
philosophical can actually be grown and developed in accordance with the
perception and depends on the dimensions of space and time. Many purpose for getting about the community as follows:

Closing
Thus the example how to getting around the community, in
the community service we necessary to know about getting around the community.
We can to used this knowledge for every day life because we live in the
community. Many things we need to know, for example:
1. Educational principles and development
2. The principle of continuity
3. The principle of cooperation, and
4.
The principle of instutional
We necessary to know about the principle to getting
around the community, we can to use it in the our community. We can get many
usefullness in the getting around the community, we can promoted our skill or
all we have. We will easy to use our knowledge about it, we need the community
and we always relate with the community, therefore we necessary to learn about
how to getting around the community, this is our place, and this is our
community. So know and apply this knowledge in your community.
